{"id":4121,"date":"2021-01-14T11:17:13","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T11:17:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crownrelo.co.nz\/workspace\/uncategorized\/giving-back-with-heritage-new-zealand\/"},"modified":"2026-04-27T23:46:37","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T23:46:37","slug":"giving-back-with-heritage-new-zealand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crownrelo.co.nz\/workspace\/blog\/giving-back-with-heritage-new-zealand\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Giving Back\u2019 with Heritage New Zealand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section>\n\n<div class=\"section-inner\">\n\n\n<h1 class=\"gb-text\">WE LOVE &#8216;GIVING BACK&#8217;!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text\">It was an honour and a privilege to play a part in sponsoring the Old Government Buildings Nga Rama Wherikoriko Po me Te Makete Kirihimete Night Lights and Christmas Market giving back to the Wellington community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text\">Held on the grounds of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heritage.org.nz\/places\/places-to-visit\/wellington-region\/old-government-buildings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Old Government Building<\/a> opposite The Beehive on Lampton Quay the event delivered a unique authentic northern hemisphere Christmas experience. Old Government Building is a heritage building situated in the heart of Wellington CBD and provides a unique visual insight into the nation&#8217;s political and social history and cultural values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text\">With a reduction in visitors to the capital Heritage New Zealand recognised the impact of what has been a particularly difficult year for the community and local businesses in the capital and saw the need to invest time and energy to provide the city with an uplifting festive community event to help strengthen local businesses. Crown Workspace were honoured to support this community event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gb-text\">Festive lighting was placed across the entire front of the Old Government Building and surrounding kauri trees.
