Crown was honoured to be selected for the relocation of Tauranga Council from their three existing offices into a newly constructed building, consolidating all staff under one roof. This significant project involved meticulous planning and execution to ensure a smooth transition.
The Project Overview
- Team Deployment: Crown deployed a dedicated team of 15 staff members for 15 consecutive days to manage the relocation and decant process.
- IT and Furniture Relocation: Over a span of three weeks, the team successfully relocated more than 600 IT setups, personal items, and miscellaneous furniture.
- Furniture Removal and Recycling: The project included the removal of over 400 desks, chairs, and other miscellaneous furniture. Impressively, Crown managed to divert approximately 96-98% of these items from landfill during the relocation weekends.
- Ahead of Schedule: The project was completed 3-4 days ahead of the planned schedule.
