Whether you are moving locally or long distance, our professional pet transportation service will get your furry family members safely to their destination. They will travel by air or road, and will be well cared for during stopovers and upon arrival using Crown approved/inspected kennels and/or catteries.
Being organised is always advisable, but when it comes to relocating your pets it’s also extremely important. Crown recommend you allow maximum lead times so we can coordinate bookings to suit your preferred timing. If your pet is travelling by air we will require seven working days (minimum) notification.
New Zealand has strict rules governing the importation of animals. Both the New Zealand Customs Service and www.biosecurity.govt.nz share responsibility for ensuring the rules are observed. For example all dogs registered in New Zealand for the first time (except farm dogs used for stock control) must be micro chipped. Before being released to their owners all imported animals require Bio Security and Customs clearances.
