I am writing to express our family’s sincere thanks to your Team for making what should have been a well-planned and stress-free move actually happen in what turned out to be a very stressful time (Dave was very friendly, supportive and professional in setting the move in place), but then the lockdown struck! We were scheduled to have your movers come in on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th March to pack, and have the move completed by Friday 27th. With the announcement of an unexpected lockdown, we would have been left in a horrible position, and totally stranded if your Rina had not moved mountains, and arrange for Max and Danz to arrive on Tuesday 24th to start the move. They worked like Trojans and Rina was the voice of and angel on the phone reassuring us that the move would be done before the lockdown.
On Wednesday 25th, the fateful day that lockdown was to commence at midnight, Max and a bigger team arrived and did an amazing job. They packed, made several trips to Wainui, and nothing was too much trouble. We were busy cleaning up around them so we could leave the house clean and tidy, which I am sure made things a little difficult for them, but they were nothing but positive and helpful throughout.
Thanks to your team, we made it with less than six hours to spare!

However of more importance is our experiences during the move on the 25th.
Matt and his team arrived before 8am and we have never seen a group of men work so hard. The job of clearing our house was set for two days and yet, somehow, they did it in one!
Given that this was one day before the lockdown commenced the feat took on a greater importance. Without the house being cleared we could not have provided vacant possession to our purchasers. In turn that would have meant they couldn’t provide vacant possession to the purchasers of their home.
That day, our house was chaos as they moved their furniture into our garage as we moved out. However a great deal of money was at stake and thanks solely to Matt and the boys settlement took place yesterday.
We cannot speak highly enough of your team. They went way above and beyond the call of duty. They were a credit to themselves and a huge credit to your company. We remain in their debt!

“I am writing to remark on the professionalism of the job Crown Relocations carried out in my move from Dunedin to Wellington. From the beginning of the process until the end, the sheer dedication of the team stood out. I was incredibly impressed with the fact the mover arrived early before pick up time and collected my things with minimum fuss.
My belongings arrived with me a long time before the 10-15 days mentioned on the form. I was faced with needing an urgent document and the team managed to get my boxes to me during the Easter holidays! I sent a message on Facebook at 10.00 pm on Good Friday. I had my boxes by 2.00 pm the following day. Without this service, I would have been forced to cancel my trip to the US consulate in Auckland to get my Visa.

“All of the packing and delivery guys in Auckland were great, but it was Mark who convinced me I should move with Crown. Mark, who was my first point of contact was very kind and professional. My dog a ‘staffy‘ who usually barks when someone is at the gate didn’t, in fact he walked Mark to the door. That tells me a lot about a person. He explained everything that would happen from start to finish, the timeframe and took an inventory. He kept in touch and I knew he would be immediately available to answer any more questions I had.
The Palmerston North Destination crew – Aaron, Kane and Pat arrived in a truck to my home in Opunake from Palmerston North on time to find me sitting outside unable to gain access. The real estate agents were no help as the keys were inside and I only had the remote for the garage door that did not work. I was in tears as I was exhuasted from the long trip down. They were so kind and helped me, asking where I wanted this and that, chatting to me the whole time. Everything was put together and after asking if I was okay, which I was by then left in the truck with a toot and a wave sihing me well in my new home. Not one single thing was damaged.
I would like to express in the most unreserved terms my appreciation for the very high quality of service that you gave in transporting my goods from Finland to New Zealand. At every stage you and your colleagues offered the highest service.
I would recall your initial call to Finland when you explained the tax complications and helped me through the various stages. By comparison the other NZ company who were advised to contact me did absolutely nothing at all. I would like to mention your Finnish counterparts: Frans was the perfect gentleman and ensured that my two sauna stoves were sufficiently well-protected with extra packing, and happily they appear not to be damaged. I very much look forward to building my sauna! As far as I can see nothing has been damaged, the books have not suffered dampness or mould, and none of the fine Finnish china has been broken or chipped. This is unprecedented over my lifetime of international moves!
I would also mention the gentleman who studied for some years in Wales and who drove to Kuopio from Helsinki to collect my stuff – I trust he managed to have supper with his grandmother before returning to Helsinki.

“When you said “Wednesday, Thursday and delivered Friday” it sounded just too good to be true. It all happened!
Our first night in Wanganui was at a motel where they allocated us the honeymoon suite. The washing machine disconnection was way beyond our best endeavours. So, we left $50 and a wrench on top of it, payable to the packers upon disconnection and delivery to Wanganui. We had a walk round before we left with only two blokes who got a $50 tip each. They reckoned it wasn’t necessary but we disagreed.
Did you say insurance? Our stuff arrived in perfect shape. The packer gratuities were money very well spent. Who needs to help insurance companies build even more sky scrapers?
The blokes here were just great too. Three of them got a final $50 each. They too reckoned it wasn’t necessary. We disagreed. THANK YOU all for a great job, lovingly done. The happy home is now in Wanganui. The brand new home is twice as nice as the Orewa one for only half the price. Our Wanganui Activity List has 23 places to find and explore. We are like two kids turned loose in a toy shop. The Australian Terrorist hound is in Doggy Dreamland with her very own back yard here.

I just wanted to tell you what a fabulous job your packing guys did! Not a single item was broken…from antique vases to crystal champagne flutes, and I had so many mirrors! I would be happy to recommend you all to anyone traveling around the world with their precious belongings.

We were very excited about moving our family to Auckland from Seattle. As we got closer to the move date, the stress of finding a rental home that would allow our dog started to build up as we weren’t able to make any headway in the fast moving market, especially being remotely located. We also wanted to be in one of the selected list of school zones for our kids.
When we engaged Crown and Stephanie, we immediately felt more relieved to have a reliable person on the ground, who very well understood what we needed. We had a home to rent that allowed a dog and was in a good school zone within 2 weeks!
