Comprehensive, confidential
collection and disposal of physical
and digital data.
From collection to disposal, your business-critical data will be treated with full confidentiality and maximum security by highly trained staff to mitigate risks of data loss.
Crown’s breadth of knowledge and experience in data compliance will ensure your organisation is compliant with the data protection and environmental laws that surrounds proper disposal of data.
All our information disposal is audited, meaning you’ll be able to track destruction of something from your desk right until it reaches the facility, after which you’ll receive a proof of destruction certificate.
For decades, Crown Records Management has been helping organisations maximize the value of their “corporate memory” using technology to free up your data.
Crown Records Management has a responsibility to people and the planet, and a role in tackling climate change. We are committed to embedding more responsible and sustainable business practices into how we operate our business.
Crown Records Management provides secure document disposal services on a global scale with strategically located facilities in over 40 countries.
At the end of its life-cycle, proper disposal of corporate information is critical to ensure compliance and to protect corporate interests.
We deliver simple, effective and compliant secure shredding solutions including secure confidential bins to customers and set up collection and bin rotation schedules.
To prevent data breaches and unauthorized access to your data, our E-waste disposal service ensures sensitive data is completely destroyed, not just deleted – your digital data-containing devices should be disposed of with the same security and care that is afforded to paper documents.
We offer a range of services to help achieve this disposal, primarily industrial-grade shredding, using specialized machines, as well as crushing.
Uniforms, ID cards and any other items bearing a company logo or information, all pose a potential data risk to your organisation.
Our secure product destruction services will help you secure your brand reputation
We’ve spent almost 40 years helping organisations cope with increasing quantities of data and the increasingly complicated legal minefield around its management, retention and loss.
Crown Records Management removes the complexity of managing records, both physically and digitally, while making sense of what you have.
We look to make your life simpler by integrating your physical and electronic data assets, unlocking the potential within your own organisation, and ensuring smooth flow of information throughout your business.
Our objective is to keep you compliant and cost efficient through secure storage, active management, comprehensive risk auditing and smart and timely distribution of information assets.
2022 Document Manager Awards
“We’re delighted to win the Project of the year award. This latest win demonstrates Crown’s determination to deliver solutions that create efficient and effective outcomes for our customers and our progress. A big thank you to my team for all their efforts on this project. It’s all down to their hard work and professional approach.”2021 Document Manager Awards
In Addition to this accolade, Crown Records Management was nominated with our partner ELO Digital in various categories. We were also shortlisted as runner up in the category: BPO/Outsourcing/Bureau Business of the Year.We worked with CONZUL to develop templates for the creation of a single national database and procedures for the on-going management of their holding which to date encompass just under 20,000 cartons and 450,000 individually tracked volumes.
As each university moved their holdings to Crown, all the other university libraries were able to view the database of titles now held at Crown and discard any duplicated items from their collections.
Whereas previously each university independently met their own collection storage costs, they now share the storage costs of a jointly owned collection of low-use research materials.
From the end-user perspective, a title is requested as previously, the university library staff then order it from Crown who retrieve it, scan it and deliver it back to the library electronically.
The new Auckland Council led by its newly appointed Records and Archives Manager, Jaqueline Davidson, tendered out the records management business of Auckland Council and it associated entities. In total, this encompassed over 110,000 cartons of information.
The major challenge was to move to one supplier with one coherent database, with a common taxonomy, retention schedule and procedures.
Auckland Council is well on track to achieving their ultimate ambition of having one cherent database manage through one EDRMS, held with one external supplier.
The new document management solution has been delivering greater access to information, higher transparency and more effective management of what are in many instances historically valuable documents.
